01、Surface
Most people forget the window and door’s decoration properties to the room, although they feel satisfied with functions.
Therefore, it’s important to examine the surface colour and brightness and check up on shapes with a ruler for any deforming and scratches.
02、Sealing strips
After surface checking, then the next will be air-tightness. Generally, sealing strips are flat with groove and notch. It cannot be folded or came off. Aluminium profiles should stick tight the glass. Usually, gap between frames and sashes is smaller than 2mm. If gaps are too obvious or wide, please ask for repairing.
03、 Frame
Frames’ installation directly affect the window hardness. So, frames examine includes hardness, tightness and stability.
Before starting, use a bubble level to measure the vertical angle. The vertical tolerance reasonable boundaries is 2.5mm, horizontal tolerance is 5mm, center tolerance is 5mm. If the error exceed the tolerance, please request for further repairing or replacing.
04、 Lock
Locks are safety. Please check the lock to if that was installed properly in the right position.
05、Metal hardware
The last is flexibility. Repeat open and close for several times to make sure metal hardware works well, in function.
If hinges and handles do not work properly, please replace immediately.
Final product examine is the last stage. It needs to check properly to prevent problems happened in further use.
